Metallurgical Fire Simply beautiful guitar playing that makes you want to climb the nearest mountain. This is an inspiring record. Favorite track: Irti.

vsrn It's the prolific Finnish duo arguably at their most refined, while still maintaining that signature murky, melancholic aura throughout every song. If their seminal album Eleven Fingers had more blast beats and an equal focus on atmosphere as well as riffs/melodies you might have something like this.

Ryan Walker Yeah, this really rules. There are few like Circle of Ouroborus. Great melancholy and sadness abound. A wonderfully hypnotic album.

L. I have to admit I never paid attention to Circle of Ouroborus despite their relative fame but when I listened to this new album was a surprising love at first sight and an album hardly does it nowadays. Strangely the production reminds me of my childhood in mid 90s when I spent a lot of time playing tapes, mostly of electronic music, in my parents car and especially due to that chorus effect that makes it intriguing alongside the fascinating amalgam of fervent riffs and that odd faustian vocals. Favorite track: Irti.

about

NAIL006

Viimeinen Juoksu is the 18th full length album from arguably one of the greatest, outsider bands from an already outside-interest genre

Viimeinen Juoksu is another euphoric hallucinogenic step through their perfectly eerie blend of post-punk, post-rock and black metals.
At this point in their discography, their sound has a uniquely disquieting atmosphere that unsettles even those most familiar with the sound.
That drifting, disembodied astral disorientation.
Here it’s a little cleaner, clearer, yet still with a drugged warping and distorted cloak of the unreal.
